A number of churches in the Association have sent out missionaries from their membership. Other Association churches support these missionaries in a number of ways, the most important of which is regular prayer.

As an Association we have very close links with Grace Baptist Mission and each spring host their area meetings.  We also have links through local missionaries with UFM and OMF.

We no longer load prayer letters from these missionaries on to the site in case matters of a confidential nature are included. However, details of how to obtain the regular prayer letters are included below.

These missionaries include

Fiona Steward - working amongst the students in Bordeaux, France. This link will take you to the report prepared by her local church at Great Whyte. You can get her prayer letter from Anne Newman at anne_newman45@hotmail.com and read the blog of the UFM missionary who is working in the church that she attends in Bordeaux.

Malcolm and Ruth Firth - working with a local church in Riga, Latvia. This link will take you to an account of their work prepared by the church at Whittlesey. Their prayer letter can be obtained from Mrs Kathleen Abblitt c/o Whittlesey Baptist Church, Gracious Street, Whittlesey, Peterborough PE7 1AR.

Theo and Sonja Donner are working in Medellin, Colombia. They are involved in the preparing of pastors, missionaries and christian workers through their involvement with a local Seminary. Their prayer letter can be obtained through Eden Baptist, Church, Cambridge at web99_office@eden-cambridge.org.

Others well known to the churches are working in situations where it is not possible to mention them on the internet. However, as with all these missionaries, we always remember them and do not forget to pray for them.
